How to Use Okmall — For Buyers
A step-by-step walkthrough of shopping on Okmall — from finding your first item to what happens if something isn’t quite right.
Creating Your Account
- Go to the Register page and choose Buy.
- Fill in your name, email address, phone number, and a password.
- Submit the form and verify your email address using the link we send you.
- You’re ready to start shopping right away.
Buyers don’t need to complete identity verification — that’s only required for vendors and personal sellers.
Finding Products
- Browse the Shop page, or use the categories menu to narrow things down.
- Use the Filters button to narrow results by price, condition, or seller type (Vendor or Personal Seller).
- Use the Categories button for a full list of subcategories to jump straight to what you’re after.
- Open any product to see full photos, the description, condition, price, and the seller’s shipping coverage for your location.
Placing an Order
- Add the item(s) you want to your cart.
- At checkout, enter (or select) your delivery address.
- Review the shipping fee — this is set by the seller based on your delivery location, and shown before you pay.
- Complete payment securely through our payment processor.
- You’ll land on an order confirmation page, and receive a confirmation email with your order details.
An order can include items from more than one seller at once — if it does, each seller’s items are tracked and can be disputed independently of one another.
Tracking Your Order
- Open Orders from your dashboard menu to see everything you’ve bought.
- Tap any status card at the top (e.g. Processing, Shipped, Delivered) to quickly filter your order list.
- Open an order to see its full details, including delivery address and price breakdown.
- Once the seller marks it shipped, you’ll see the courier name and a tracking code or link, if they’ve provided one.
What Happens After Delivery
Okmall protects every order with a couple of built-in safety windows:
That window between delivery and completion is your chance to check that everything arrived as expected before the order is finalised.
Raising a Dispute
If your order arrives damaged, isn’t what you ordered, or doesn’t arrive at all, you can raise a dispute directly from that order — within 24 hours of it being marked delivered.
- Open the order from Orders and select Raise a Dispute.
- Select the affected item(s), if your order has more than one.
- Choose the reason that best matches the issue, and describe what went wrong.
- Attach photos of the item as received — this is the most useful evidence you can provide.
- Submit your dispute. The seller is notified immediately and has 48 hours to respond. If they don’t, it’s automatically escalated to our team.
Messaging a Seller
- From an order’s detail view, open the chat to message the seller directly about that order.
- Use this to ask about delivery, confirm details, or raise a concern before it becomes a dispute.
Each conversation is tied to a specific order and closes automatically once that order is completed or cancelled.
Following Your Favorite Sellers
- Visit any seller’s store page and tap the Follow button.
- You’ll be notified when that seller lists new products.
- You can turn notifications for a specific seller on or off at any time, or unfollow them entirely.
Managing Your Account
- Open Account Settings from your dashboard menu to update your name, email, phone number, or password.
- Manage your saved delivery address so checkout is quicker next time.
