Fund4Me Terms and Policies

These Fund4Me Terms and Policies (“Terms”) govern all Fund4Me activities (“Fund4Me” or “Feature”) available exclusively on Okmall.ng (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating or contributing to a Fund4Me campaign, you (“you,” “user,” or “participant”) agree to comply with these Terms. Please read carefully before participating.

1. Eligibility

  • 1.1 Fund4Me is available for products sold directly on Okmall.ng, as well as for Custom Fund4Me Campaigns.
  • 1.2 Participants must be at least 18 years of age to create or contribute to a Fund4Me campaign.
  • 1.3 Employees, contractors, affiliates, or partners of Okmall.ng may only participate if explicitly permitted.
  • 1.4 By participating, you confirm that all details (such as name, phone number, email, bank details, or delivery address) provided are accurate and truthful.

2. Nature of Fund4Me

  • 2.1 Fund4Me is a community-driven contribution feature that allows users to gather voluntary support from friends, family, or well-wishers toward a specific goal.
  • 2.2 There are two types of Fund4Me Campaigns:
    • Product Fund4Me Campaign — contributions are directed toward the purchase of an eligible product sold on Okmall.ng. These campaigns are approved automatically.
    • Custom Fund4Me Campaign — contributions are raised for any personal or business purpose (such as a startup, school fees, rent, birthday, or medical bills). Custom campaigns are reviewed and approved by Okmall.ng administrators before going live.
  • 2.3 Contributions are voluntary and final — they cannot be withdrawn, refunded, or transferred once completed.
  • 2.4 A Product Fund4Me campaign is considered successful once the full price of the selected product is reached.
  • 2.5 Fund4Me is not an investment platform and does not guarantee profits. It is solely a contribution-based support system.

3. Creating a Fund4Me Campaign

  • 3.1 Only registered users may create Fund4Me campaigns.
  • 3.2 Product Fund4Me campaigns must be tied to one eligible product sold directly on Okmall.ng.
  • 3.3 Custom Fund4Me campaigns may be created for any legitimate purpose, provided the purpose is clearly stated and does not violate these Terms.
  • 3.4 All custom campaigns undergo review and require approval by Okmall.ng before being published.
  • 3.5 Campaign owners may have a maximum of two (2) active campaigns at any given time.
  • 3.6 Campaign owners may delete campaigns that have not received any contributions. Once the first contribution is made, the campaign can no longer be deleted.
  • 3.7 Campaign creators must provide accurate details (delivery address for product campaigns, bank details for custom campaigns) to ensure successful fulfillment or disbursement once the campaign is fully funded.

4. Restricted Campaign Categories

To protect contributors and maintain the integrity of Fund4Me, custom campaigns cannot be created for the following purposes:

  • 4.1 Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive purposes.
  • 4.2 Illegal activities or campaigns that promote crime, violence, terrorism, or money laundering.
  • 4.3 Campaigns related to gambling, betting, or pyramid/ponzi schemes.
  • 4.4 Political or religious fundraising intended to promote specific parties, groups, or ideologies.
  • 4.5 Adult content, pornography, sexual services, or any related activity.
  • 4.6 Campaigns promoting hate speech, discrimination, or harmful content.
  • 4.7 Medical or health-related campaigns without verifiable documentation (e.g., hospital bills, doctor’s notes, medical records). Okmall.ng reserves the right to request supporting documents before approval.

5. Contributions

  • 5.1 Contributions can only be made through approved Okmall.ng payment methods.
  • 5.2 All contributions are final and are immediately applied toward the campaign target.
  • 5.3 Contributors acknowledge that they are voluntarily supporting the campaign creator’s stated goal.

6. Completion & Disbursement

  • 6.1 Product Fund4Me Campaigns: Once a campaign reaches its full target, Okmall.ng will process the product order and deliver it to the campaign creator.
  • 6.2 Custom Fund4Me Campaigns: Once the campaign reaches its target or is closed by the creator, the total amount raised will be transferred to the campaign creator’s provided bank account, minus 5% to cover service charges.
  • 6.3 Campaigns do not expire automatically. However, Okmall.ng may cancel campaigns older than 90 days.
  • 6.4 When a campaign is cancelled, the contributed amount will be disbursed to the campaign owner minus 8% for product campaigns (to cover payment gateway charges and service commission) or 5% for custom campaigns (as service charge).
  • 6.5 Campaign owners may request an extension beyond 90 days, in which case the campaign may continue running at Okmall.ng’s discretion.
  • 6.6 Okmall.ng is not responsible for failed deliveries (in product campaigns) or failed transfers (in custom campaigns) caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the campaign creator.

7. Transparency & Fairness

  • 7.1 Campaign progress (including total amount raised and, where applicable, contributor details) may be publicly displayed to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • 7.2 Successful campaigns may be highlighted on Okmall.ng for transparency and promotional purposes.
  • 7.3 Okmall.ng reserves the right to review, suspend, or remove any campaign that violates these Terms or raises concerns of misuse.

8. Misuse & Fraud

  • 8.1 Any misuse of Fund4Me — including false campaigns, fraudulent contributions, or misrepresentation of purpose — will result in suspension or permanent account termination.
  • 8.2 Medical or emergency campaigns found to contain falsified documentation will be permanently banned, and legal action may be pursued.
  • 8.3 Okmall.ng reserves the right to cooperate with legal authorities if fraudulent activity is suspected or confirmed.

9. General Conditions

  • 9.1 Fund4Me is a voluntary contribution feature. Okmall.ng does not guarantee that any campaign will reach its target.
  • 9.2 Okmall.ng reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Fund4Me feature at any time.
  • 9.3 These Terms may be updated periodically, and continued participation in Fund4Me implies acceptance of the latest version.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
